Online Dispute Resolution Resources

A pilot program to evaluate the viability of online dispute resolution (ODR) in certain case types was undertaken last year.  The Supreme Court recently considered a report on the pilot from the ODR Workgroup.  On March 15, 2021, the Chief Justice issued Fla. Admin. Order No. AOSC21-10PDF Download, In Re: Online Dispute Resolution in the Trial Courts.  The AO authorizes expanding the pilot to all interested judicial circuits as a means of gathering additional information on ODR.  The AO addresses implementation and associated reporting requirements for the expanded pilot.  Although not adopted by the Court, the Workgroup’s report on the initial pilot, along with other resources, are available below for reference, and OSCA staff will remain available for consultation.  Questions may be addressed to Andrew Johns of the Court Services unit within the Office of the State Courts Administrator by telephone at (850) 922-5103.
